Nevertheless, we would like to point out that professional treatments with botulinum toxin are restricted through the rules and regulations set by the medical association of each country. In Germany, approved doctors are permitted to administer botulinum toxin to their patients, regardless of specialisation. Furthermore, dentists are also permitted to inject botulinum toxin in the oral area.

Are you permitted to inject your patients with botulinum toxin?
Treatment with botulinum toxin via injection is permitted, within Germany, only to approved doctors (regardless of specialisation) and dentists (in the oral area). For alternative practitioners and cosmeticians, administration of this treatment is prohibited.
